BioI created this journal in order to record a round-the-world trip that I took between February and June 2005, but I'm now treating it as a general-purpose travel journal.
Why "kelpercomehome"?
I was born in the Falkland Islands, where "kelper" is the local term for an Islander - deriving from the thick growth of kelp or seaweed that surrounds the islands. During the round-the-world trip I returned to the islands for the first time since my family left in 1976.
